Application of computational geometry

 

We have applied and developed methods of computational geometry for a brachytherapy optimization program:

 

*   Optimal oriented bounding box

 

*   Voronoi and Delaunay graphs

 

*   Dose computation using Voronoi and Delaunay graphs

 

*   Uniform distributed points on triangulated surfaces

 

*   Fast generation of points inside triangulated objects obtained by cross-sectional contours

 

*   Basic geometric algorithms for template based inverse planning

 

*   Margins and deformations of objects

 

*   Optimization of beam configurations in radiotherapy

 

*   Surface reconstruction from parallel contours (in preparation).
