Agios Dimitrios Piliou (Greek: Άγιος Δημήτριος Πηλίου), other forms: Agios Dimitrios Peliou Ayios Dimitrios Peliou is a village that is part of the municipality of Mouresi, it is located about 10 km NW of Tsagkarada and Anilio. It is named after an old monastery of Agios Dimitrios now replaced by the church of Agios Dimitrios. It is in the eastern part of Magnesia in the prefecture of the same name in Greece. It sits on the slopes of the Pelio mountains. Agios Dimitrios Pelio is located southeast of Zagora, north of Agios Lavrentios and about 60 km east of the city of Volos (Magnesia's capital). Agios Dimitrios is linked with the road linking with Tsagkarada. It stretches from north to south as well as residential buildings and are surrounded by forests as well. Its population in 2001 was 502 for the municipal district and 268 for the village. The altitude is 171 meters. It offers a view of the Aegean Sea to the east.
