Chorto (Greek: Χόρτο), also Chorton, Horto or Horton (not related with the surname Horton) is a Greek village located near Argalasti in the Magnesia prefecture. Chorto is c. 46 km from Volos. Its population in 2001 was 156. Chorto is located by the Pagasetic Gulf and offers a beach that are filled with hotels and restaurants. The area around Chorto lies the ancient city of Spalathra, the community saw an increase between World War I and the World War II as an agricultural centre of olive which are produced in the southern Pelio up to its nearby port.
