Chania, Anatoliko Selino

Moni (greek Μονή) is a small village in Chania Prefecture on the island of Crete, Greece. The village is built at an elevation of 162 m. It has 53 residents (2001 census source) and it's within the municipality of East Selino (Anatoliko Selino).

In 1943, during German occupation, Germans bomb and burn out the village, like the nearby villages of Livadas and Koustogerako, by way of harsh reprisal for local partisans actions.
