Oinochori or Oinohori (Greek, Modern: Οινοχώρι, Katharevousa: Οινοχώριον), older forms: -o and -on, meaning "village of wine," is a small village (2001 population: 114) in the municipality of Gravia. It is located at an altitude of approximately 900 meters on the slope of Mount Oiti. Prior to 1927, Oinochori was known as Ano Kaniani (Greek: 'Ανω Κάνιανη). Ruins just outside the village are thought to be from the Dorian or pre-Dorian city of Dryopes.
