Prefecture Trikala, Gomfoi Municipality

Pigi (Trikala) is one of the Biggest Village-Communities in the Trikala Prefecture, part of the Gomfoi municipality. It is 9 kilometers (ca. 5-6 miles) west from Trikala (The prefecture capital town) on the National road of Trikala-Arta.Population 1156 in 2001. Most of the citizen are farmers but also workes or buisenessmen-women that work in Trikala but prefer to live in a less populated place. Pigi has its own Football stadium but also an off road sport terain.
