Pontokomi

Pontokomi (gr. Ποντοκώμη) is a town in Kozani Prefecture, Greece. It is between the city Kozani and Ptolemaida (14 km distance) In 2001 its population was 1316. Its population worked in agriculture but now more are working in the powerstation in the region. It is part of the Dimitrios Ypsilantis municipality

On a side of a mountain near Pontokomi is an Amphitheater which was build in 2001 and since 2002 it is called the Mikis Theodorakis Amphitheater ΑΜΦΙΘΕΑΤΡΟ (Μίκης Θεοδωράκης).
