Skado (or Skadon) is a village of the municipality of Drymalia, on the east side of the mountain Koronos. Skados is c. 34 km from Chora Naxos. The name is derived frow Skia (shadow) offered by the trees, or from the ancient Iskas (Fig Tree)

Skado has a small folklore museum.

The population of Skado was 126 in 2001. In 1955 it was 615.
