Stropones (Greek: Στρόπωνες) is a small village, part of the Dirfys municipality, in the island of Euboea in central Greece.

It has 591 residents (2001) and it is centrally located, forty-eight km away from Chalkis.

The beautiful authentic mountain village is to approximately 700 m over the sea on sumptuous greens.

The only overnight accommodation is at the upper end of the village at the road direction Steni Dirfos. The relatively new house with eight beautiful, favorable and very clean studios is recommended.

Stropones has developed quite rapidly in the last few years thanks to the natural beauty of the landscape. It is also lucky enough to have one of the most picturesque beaches in Greece, called Chiliadou (or Hiliadou).
