Strousi (Greek:, Modern: Στρούσι, older: -o, Ancient/Katharevoussa: -on), older forms, Strousio, Strousion is a village located in the western part of the municipality of Andravida in the prefecture of Ilia. It is connected with two roads, one to Myrsini and one westward to Neochori. Distance from Myrsini is 1 km S, 9 km SW of Kyllini, 4 km W of Andravida and 5 km W of GR-9/E55. Its neighboring communities and villages are Neochori to the west, Myrsini to the north and north of the road connecting Kyllini and Andravida, Andravida to the east and Kardiakafti and Dimitra to the south but no connecting roads. The village has a small school, a church and square (plateia). Most of the residential houses are ligned within its main street. The area is made up of pasture and mixed farming areas while forests dominate to the south. The area also has a nearby gas station in Myrsini. The majority of the population are rural. Until the 1960s, much of the village did not have electricity and until the 1980s, most of the houses were stone-built. Links:
