The Greek plebiscite of 1924 ensured and affirmed the dominance of the venizelist parataxis. With a percentage of 70% the Greeks, including the refugees from Asia Minor expressed their disapproval towards the royal family and King George I and they approved the proposed by the government regime of the presidential parliamentary republic.
