Abaeus

Abaeus is a surname of Apollo derived from the town of Abae in Phocis, where the god had a rich temple renowned for its oracles. (Hesych. s. v. "Agcu ; Herod, viii. 33 ; Paus. x. 35. § 1, &c.)
