Admete

Admete (Αδμήτη)

  1. Daughter of Eurystheus in Greek mythology, Admete (or Admeta) asked her father to require Heracles to steal Hippolyte's girdle for her. Heracles had to comply as this was one of his Twelve Labors.

  2. Admete is also the name of one of the Oeanids, companion of Persephone.
