Altes

Once more, deadly fate
has placed me in your hands.  I do believe
Father Zeus must hate me, to give me to you
for a second time.  My mother, Laothoë,
daughter of old Altes, gave birth to me 
to live a shortened life.  Altes rules over
war-loving Leleges, in steep Pedasus,
by the river Satnioeis.  His daughter
married Priam, who has many other wives.
She had two sons.  Now you'll have slaughtered both.
