Amphissa

In Greek mythology, Amphissa was a daughter of Macareus and granddaughter of Aeolus, was beloved by Apollo, and is said to have given the name to the town of Amphissa in Phocis, where her memory was perpetuated by a splendid monument. (Pausanias)
