Eurysaces

Eurysaces with a Paidagogos

In Greek mythology, Eurysaces was the son of The Telamonian Ajax and Tecmessa. He was venerated in Athens. Eurysaces was named after his father's famous shield. In the play Ajax (Sophocles), the shield is the lone item handed to the boy by Ajax before his suicide.
