Polites

In Greek mythology , Polites referred to three different people.

  • One of Odysseus' crew who is said to have been worshipped as a hero at Temesa in Italy(Odyssey X, 224, Strab. vi. p. 255).

Neoptolemus holds Polyxena, while Hecuba ask him to release her daughter, her son Polites is dead
