Mathematical Gems

The good Christian should beware of mathematicians and all those who make empty prophecies. The danger already exists that the mathematicians have made a covenant with the devil to darken the spirit and to confine man in the bonds of Hell.
Saint Augustine (354-430)

During my high school time in Greece I "wasted" some of my time working on various simple mathematical problems. Here are some of them:

*Fixpoint of Inscribed quadrilaterals in circle

*Number theory, sums and associated groups

*Exponential Iterations and Convergence

Application of mathematics:

*Fast Fourier Transforms (FFT) and Convolution

*Rotation around a vector, Rodrigues formula and orientation optimization

*Generation of uniform distributed random points on and within hyperspheres (in preparation)

*Singular Value Decomposition (Preliminary version)

*Lognormal distribution and cancer cure

*Generation of various random numbers distributions (in preparation)

*Use of FFT to measure femtometer (1/1000 nanometer) large Boson sources or gigantic star radii (in preparation)

*Determinants and Permanents (in preparation)

*Double sums, variances and inequalities (in preparation)

*Lagrange Multipliers (in preparation)

*Stratified Sampling (in preparation)
