Statue of Artemis of the Seville-Palatine type. Roman artwork, 1st–2d centuries AD, copy of the neo-manierist style of the late 5th century BC, Pentelic marble. Artemis is identified by her clothes: himation (coat) thrown over the left shoulder and girded around the waist, chiton (tunic) rolled up for running.
