Minerva, Louvre Ma2225

Helmeted Minerva holding a tiny owl. Marble and golden onyx, 2nd century AD and 18th century restorations, height: 4.3'. The onyx body is a Roman copy of the Hera Borghese type; the statue was restored as Minerva by adding marble head and arms.
