Cyprus Mail

Cyprus Mail is a Cypriot English-language newspaper. It is published daily (except Mondays) and a number of articles are available online. Its current chief editor is Kosta Pavlowitch.

The managing director is Kyriakos Iacovides. The assistant editor is Katy Turner and the sports editor is Soteris Charalambous. The other sub editors are Kath Toumbourou, Cemaliye Mamali, Jimmy Mavroudis and Kathy McElroy. The paper's tv/cinema critic is Preston Wilder.

The paper's chief reporter is Jean Christou. The local news reporters are Alexia Saoulli, Leo Leonidou, Jacqueline Theodoulou, Zoe Christodoulidou, Eleni Antoniou, Simon Bahceli, Marianna Pissa and Andreas Avgousti. Lauren O'Hara is a regular columnist.

It has a daily circulation of approximately 4,000 copies which makes it the largest English language daily newspaper (by circulation) on the island [1]

The newspaper makes a brief appearance in the James Bond film The World Is Not Enough, when Bond is scanning information relating to the kidnapping of Electra King. Among the information he views is a Cyprus Mail front page carrying the story of her escape. This was specially mocked-up for the film.
