Georgios Alogoskoufis (or George Alogoskoufis) (Γιώργος Aλογοσκούφης) (born October 17, 1955) is a Greek politician and member of the New Democracy and currently Minister for Economy and Finance.
Born in Athens, he studied economics at the University of Athens and the London School of Economics. He was a Professor at Birkbeck, University of London during the 1980s and a research fellow at the London School of Economic's Centre for Labour Economics.
In March 2004 he was appointed Minister for Economy and Finance.
