Komnas Trakas

Komnas Trakas or Komninos Trakas (Κομνάς Τράκας ή Κομνηνός Τράκας ) (1786-1840) was a Greek hero who fought during the Greek War of Independence against the rule of the Ottoman Empire.

He was born in Kalavryta.

He supported the war of independence financially. He participated in various battles such as in Chani tis Gravias, Ampliani and Karkavilia, Vasilika and Manesi. He was a descendant of the byzanzine family of the Comneni.
