Order of George I

The Order of George I was formally a Order of Greece named after King George I of Greece. It was replaced in 1975 by the Order of Honour.

The Order was created in 1915 by King Constantine I of Greece and was awarded to those who distinguished themselves in causes of their nations.

Grades

There were five grades for the Order:

  • Grand Cross
  • Grand Commander
  • Commander
  • Knight's Gold Cross
  • Knight's Silver Cross
