So-called “Farnese Diadumenos”: athlete tying the victor's ribbon around his head. Marble, Roman copy from the 1st century AD after a Greek original of ca. 440 BC attributed to Pheidias. The subject is similar to that of Polykleitos but varies slightly in stance.
