Rampin Rider, Louvre Ma3104

Head of a young rider, known as the "Rampin Rider" or the "Rampin Head". Marble with traces of polychromy, ca. 550 BC, found in 1877 at the Acropolis of Athens. The head (height: 10.6") is original, the torso is a cast.
