Lena Paparigopoulou, also Lena Paparrigopoulou, in (Greek: Λένα Παπαρηγοπούλου, Λένα Παπαρρηγοπούλου), is one of Greece's top fashion models who has appeared in various magazine and fashion events. In 2002 she won the Miss Star Hellas title, (Greek: Μις Σταρ Ελλάς), and went on to represent Greece at the May 24, 2002 Miss Universe pageant, (Greek: Μις Υφήλιος), which was held at the Roberto Clemente Coliseum in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She has a Major in Religion and a degree in Theology from the University of Athens. Because of this she was involved in a small controversy when the Greek Church disapproved her participation in the beauty contest but nothing came out of this issue except promoting her already lucrative modeling career. She is currently being represented by Ace Models.
