Giannoulis Fakinos (Greek: Γιαννούλης Φακίνος born 7 July 1989, sometime credited as Yiannoulis Fakinos) is a Greek football player, who currently plays for Apollon Smyrni F.C..[1]

Club career

He started from Koronida FC.(Naxos)[2] before moving to Olympiacos U21 team.He has played profesional for Olympiacos, Panionios F.C. and Ilioupoli F.C..

Giannoulis is his actual name and not a nickname, as many would assume. The talented player is said to become angry when he is called "Giannis".

He is a midfielder who is suited into the central midfielder role, but can also play as a "holding role" as a defensive midfielder or an attacking midfielder. He has a very bright future and is known by fans for his quick acceleration and good passing ability.[3]
