Nikolaos Xydias Typaldos (1826-1909) was a Greek painter. Born in Kefallonia, he studied in Italy and in Paris at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts; he lived in France until returning to Greece in the 1890s; he died in Athens. He remained an academic artist throughout most of his career.
