Galia (Γαλιά ) is a village in the Heraklion Prefecture on the island of Crete in Greece.

It is build at an altitude of 250 meters. Galia is mentioned in a Venetican document of 1577.

Galia witha population of 909 is part of the Moires Municipality ( Δήμος Μοιρών) with a population of 10.857 in the year 2001.
