Lina Tsaldari


Lina Tsaldari (Greek:Λίνα Τσαλδάρη) (1887-17 October 1981) was a Greek politician. She was the daughter of the politician and primeminister of Greece Spyridon Lambrou. In 1919 she married Panagis Tsaldaris. She was a president of PIKPA after the deathof her husband. She became the first female minister in Greece in 1956, when she served as Minister for Social Welfare, under Konstantinos Karamanlis' government. She died of a stroke, prior to the general elections of 1981.
