Ekkyklima and exostra, Two mechanisms which are often confused by the ancient writers and often involve either a low-wheeled vehicle for transporting the dead, objects, etv. on stage (the first) and a low rotating platform (around the axle) or half-circular form for the rapid emergence and change of the interior scence (the second) precursor of modern rotating stages on a wagon.
