Niki Volou FC is a Greek football club. The team of Niki Volou was founded at 1924. It is one of the two professional football teams of Volos with the other one being Olympiakos Volou FC. There is great competition among the two of them and their fans even now that they play in different divisions. The "Pantelis Magoulas" (Greek: Παντελής Μαγουλάς) is used as their home ground. Since 2004, many of their games are also played at the Panthessaliko Stadium (Greek: πανθεσσαλικό στάδιο). Currently they are playing in the Beta Ethniki division of Greek football. History Niki Volou FC managed to enter A' Ethniki in 1961. She stayed there for five seasons. In 1966 she fell once more to the B' Ethniki and since then, struggling with various economical problems, she has tried unsuccessfully to return to the A' Ethniki Niki Volou FC also has a small but vibrant football academy with 500 children.
