Kotychi or Kotihi, rarely Kotikhi, Kotichio (Greek, Modern: Κοτύχι, Ancient/Katharevousa: -o), also Kotichi, Kotyhi older forms Kotychio, is a lagoon in the northwestern part of the prefecture of Ilia. It forms the municipal boundaries of Lechaina and Vouprasias. It is located 6 km from GR-9/E55, 61 km SW of Patras, 48 km NW of Pyrgos and about 22 km (old: 24 km) from Kyllini. The lagoon is connected with the Ionian Sea. It is a proceted area. The lagoon is an oval-shaped. Farmlands are to the southeast while grasslands are in the southwest and northeast. It is located next to the Strofylia Forest
