Krya Vrysi (Greek: ) is the name of a town and a municipality in Pella (Macedonia) Prefecture of Greece.

Short History

Krya Vrysi's newest history begins at the ends of the second decade of the 20th century. In 50 years, the citizens surpassed the number of 6000. After the drying of the lake, many tribes came and stayed in Krya Vrysi. From the two houses that first appartised the village, it has now evolved into a prosperous place with great significance to the surrounding area.

Carnival

These days there are more than 10,000 citizens in Krya Vrysi and it is very famous for its carnival that takes place every year in February. Many people from throughout Greece come to see the great parade in the town's main street.

What to do in Krya Vrysi

In the town's center there are many cafes and shop for everyone. In the night, the center is usually crowded and many times you can find some happenings like Open Theaters or Live Concerts. Throughout the year, there are many events that take place in Krya Vrysi, such as the Agrotic Expo or the Festival.
