Lefkimmi


Lefkimmi (Greek: Λευκίμμη) is a small town , part of the synonymous municipality () in the Corfu Prefecture, Greece. Population 6704 (2001).

Lefkimmi

Lefkimmi is a city of the Lefkimmi municipality. During the Venetian period Corfu was divided in four regions (balie), one of which was Lefkimmi.

Kavos

Kavos a village of the Lefkimmi municipality, known as cavo bianco in the Venetian period is today a destination place for tourists in Corfu. Not far from Kavos in the antiquity a battle between Athenians and Corinthians during the Peloponnesian war took place.

Kritika

Kritika is a village of the Lefkimmi municipality, it was founded by Cretans in the 16th century.
