Panormos

Panormos (Greek: Πάνορμος) is a sea-side village and municipal district of the Geropotamos municipality in the Rethymno Prefecture, Crete, Greece. Population 887 (2001).

It was in the antiquity a harbour of the settlement in Eleftherna. Panormos was an important trade center in the past. There are various neoclassical houses in Panormos, one with an insciption from 1871.Krasounas / ο Κρασούνας [ 83 ]
