Polykastro or Polykastron (Greek: Πολύκαστρο) is a municipality in the Kilkis Prefecture, Greece. Population 12732 (2001). Besides the largest settlement, the town of Polykastro, the municipality contains 23 other villages.

Polykastro is a city 30 km West of Kilkis city. A byzantine castle is near Polykastro, build in the period of the Byzantine emperor Andronicus III. The castle is known as Gynaikokastro, "women castle", because the fortification was so good that even women could be used as soldiers.
