Samarina, Grevena


Samarina [ (Gr. Σαμαρίνα [ ) is a community of Grevena prefecture

Population 701

    Samarina is a mountain village (c. 1600 m, mount Smolikas / Pindos). It is 52 km from the city of Grevena and 15 km from the ski center Vasilitsa.

    The Panagia festival is celebrated each year 15 August for three days with up to 5000 visitors
