Vevi, rarely Veve (Greek Βεύη, Macedonian Баница - Banitsa) is a village of the Meliti municipality, Florina prefecture, located in Greek Macedonia (Northern Greece).
Economy
It is mainly a farming community and the site of a lignite mine.
History
The village was renamed Vevi in 1926 as a condition of the Treaty of Bucharest in 1913.
