Characterized by its beautiful beach and the church of the Glykfylousa Panagia (Our Lady of the Sweet Kiss).

The town of Mithymna is just aprox. 6 km away.

Stypsi

Stypsi is a village of the Petra municipality named after the mineral "Styptiria" K2SO4·Al2(SO4)3·24H2O which can be found in the region. The villagers are mainly farmers. There are two churches in Stypsi, Koimisi tis Theotokou (built 1805) and Agia Triada (built 1924)
