Tychero

Tychero (Greek: Τυχερό) is a municipality in the Evros Prefecture, Greece. Population 4103 (2001).
The municipality is between Alexandroupolis and Soufli.

The municipality of Tychero was formed 1986 which included also Fylakton. Lefkimmi and Lyra and Provato were included in the new municipality of Tychero formed in 1997 according to the law N 2539/ 1997 .

Tychero

The main population was of Tychero is from refuges after the Minor Asia catastrophe of 1922. In the past it was a community known as Tychio until it was renamed 1953 in Tychero. In 1986 it formed with Fylakto the municipality of Tychero.
