Nevropoli Agrafon Municipality Belokomiti (Greek: Μπελοκομίτη), also with the i accented is a Greek mountainous village located west of Karditsa in the western part of the Karditsa Prefecture. Belokomiti is also in the municipal municipality of Nevropoli Agrafa. Kryneri had a population of 152 for the village and 206 for the municipal district in 2001. Belokomiti is located 22 km from the city of Karditsa. Its residents are based in agriculture. The village is vacated during the summer months by tourists. The area is in the mountainous area of Agrafa next to the the artificial Lake Plastiras. The village is built into a gorge. Other attractiosn includes the Gaki cave (σπηλιά του Γάκη Spilia tou Gaki) and the areas of Karvasara and Vrangiana where it has forests, olive trees and chestnut trees. Population
Year Municipal population 1981 148 After World War II and the Greek Civil War, the population steadily declined as residents moved to larger towns and cities and the richest countries in the world. The population did not change between 1981 and 1991, the population and 2001 but residents work in agriculture and other places around the area. Electricity arrived in the 1960s, it was linked with pavement in the late-20th century, television arrived in the 1980s.
Other Belokomiti has a school, a lyceum (middle school), and its gymnasium (secondary school), churches, and a square (plateia).
