Tzanata (Greek: Τζανάτα), is a village located in the municipality of Eleios-Pronnoi in the southeastern part of the island of Kefalonia. It is connected with two paved roads. Distance from Argostoli is about 38 km SW, 4 km W of Poros and S of Sami. Its neighboring communities and villages are Poros to the east and Agia Eirini to the south. while the three mountain ranges surrounds and the Andravida Military Airport to the southeast. It is the place where the only road is connected to Atros.

The village has a small school, a church, a restaurant, a community clinic and square (plateia). Most of the residential houses are ligned within the Argostoli-Poros Road and the road to Sami. The area is covered with olive groves and pasture lands except for 1 km west, northeast and 1 km southeast where three mountain ranges including Mount Atros surround the village except for the south. A valley with treacherous curves of its main road is to the east and another to the north.

A Mycenean tomb is founded in the eastern part of the village in the Brouzi or Brougi area dating back to 1300 BC. It was discovered by an archaeologist Lazaros Kolonas. Along with a water control in the south which began construction in around 2001 and completed in 2003. A radio tower for Poros is located in the eastern part.
