Elaiochori (older form Elaiochorion) is a small village in Greece part of the municipality of Kalamata. The population was 116 in 2001.
Elaiochori is on a west side of Taygetus
In the antiquity near Elaiochori was the ancient city Calamae. After the invasion of Slavs it was renamed to Gianitza or Gianitsa. In 1927 it was renamed to Elaiochori.
The population of the municipal district of Elaiochori was 385 in 2001. The area of the district is 24.45 km2.
