Thouria (Θουρία) is a municipality in Messenia, Greece. Population 4106 (2001) Area 77 km2.

Thouria is named after the ancient city of Thouria, parts of the fortifications still are in the region (known as Palaiokastro). The village of Thouria is c. 8 km N of Kalamata.
