Marmari (Greek, Modern: , Ancient/Katharevousa -ον -on), older forms: Marmario and Marmarion is a municipality in the prefecture of Euboea, Greece

The name is derived from the muliticolor marbles (marmara) in the region. Marmari is linked with the road linking the GR-44 (Chalkida - Karystos). It also serves ferry routes with the mainland with the port of Rafina. The mountains dominate the east. Its main economy are businesses and agriculture. Marmari is located SE of Chalkida, E of Rafina and west of Karystos.

Pothi

Pothi (older form Pothion) is a village 25 km N of Karystos. It was build probably during the early period of the occupation of the region by the Ottomans. Like the region around Karystos is was liberated in the year 1833.
