Nea Artaki (Greek: Νέα Αρτάκη) is a suburban town located north of the capital of Chalkida in the prefecture of Euboea. Nea Artaki is located SE of Aidipsos (or Edipsos), south of Psachna, W of Kymi and north of Chalkida. Nea Artaki is linked with GR-77. Nea Artaki is located in a plain that are surrounded with mountains to the east and the North Euboean Gulf lies to the west. The mountains of Boeotia near Drosia can be seen. Nea Artaki is famous for its tourism, notably its beaches and hotel including ones named Angela and Bel-Air. The population used to consists rural, housing developments changed the population to urban. Forests and grasslands are situated in the mountain areas while farmlands are within Nea Artaki. On September 16, 2005, the town of Nea Artaki was plundered by heavy rains which flooded about 60 homes and buildings.
