Oribasius

Oribasius (325-400) AD Greek physician from Pergamum (Pergamon), a student of Zenon of Cyprus, medical adviser of the emperor Julian the Apostate, mainly a compiler of the medical knowledge and author of a Medical Encyclopedia Collectiones Medicae of around 70 book two third of which are lost.
