Amfipoli The village Amfipoli is near the ancient Amphipolis, 62 km SE of the city Serres. In the region of Amfipoli is the cave of Alistrati. Nea Kerdylia Nea Kerdylia is a village part of the synonymous municipal department. It is named after the mountain Kerdylia. Limani is small harbour In the past Kerdylia was known as Krousovai (plural used for two settlements Ano and Kato Kerdylia, (upper and lower Kerdylia), Kato Kerdylia destroyed 1941 by the Germans, 17 October with 250 boys and men 15 to 70 years old executed.
